IMO, overall (for the 4.7 and 5.7's) the SC, with the ATT App, is superior mostly because of this App. With it you're able to pretty much "fix" the crappy shift schedules and torque management issues, whether you're keeping it stock or increasing performance. IMO, this should be done early on also.

So, it all finally comes down to one possible solution. The 5.7 Hemi engine is known to have a sensitivity to the condition of the oil. Chrysler has recommended the 5W-20 oil for the 5.7 Hemi engines. With this water-thin oil in a V8 engine, the oil can splash off of the crank and travel up to the cam easier. Stroke Length. The 5.7 Hemi engine has a stroke length of 90.88 mm (3.58 inches), whereas the 6.4 Hemi engine has that of 94.6mm (3.72 inches). We all know that the longer the stroke, the better. The longer stroke allows the 6.4 to deliver more power than the 5.7 Hemi.
