Welcome to Carter's Secret. I didn't expect to use that many lego elements to assemble this model. In the beginning, I wanted to make something small, compact and under 1'000 bricks. But here it is, the model contains 2919 bricks including 3 minifigures: Oria, Toms & Carter. The model is composed of 6 removable parts. The idea was simple: LEGO fans had the opportunity to submit their designs and, if they could achieve support from 10,000 unique users of the website within two years, then the design would go forward for review by the LEGO Group. Successful submissions would become official LEGO sets with the designer receiving 1% of the royalties. Today, the LEGO Ideas design team finally announced the First 2020 Review Results. This review round included 26 projects that reached 10,000 supporters between January and May 2020. Note: Other LEGO ® Education sets such as MINDSTORMS® and Robot Inventor are also allowed. Electronic Devices Each team will need two compatible devices such as a laptop, tablet, or computer. Prior to starting Session 1, you need to download the appropriate software (LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime or other compatible software) on to the ABOUT LEGO IDEAS. Do you have any useful advice about creating a successful LEGO Ideas project? Presentation is everything. A good first impression of your project is 90% of the job to get people to support your idea, especially in the early days of your project. What (if any) methods did you use to advertise and attract support for your
This set was made in collaboration with user @Minibrick Productions, who has provided explicit permission to use any and all of his work on the project. Circumference = Diameter * pi. Circumference = 3 cm * 3.14 = 9.42 cm per wheel rotation. Calculate how many wheel rotations are required for the robot to move 100 cm. 100 cm Ă· 9.42 cm per rotation = 10.6 rotations. Adjust the motor rotations by the gear ratio. Geared rotations = 10.6 rotations * 20 Ă· 12-gear ratio.
BUILDING A LEGO CITY – FIRST ROUND PICK OF SETS. Let’s start with the basics. Every town needs and every child wants a police station around, a fire station and a hospital. You should be able to get these around $250 total. The #60215 LEGO City Fire Station is $70, and the #60204 LEGO City Hospital is $100 at full price.
Encourage friends, family, and fellow LEGO enthusiasts to vote for your project. Remember, you’ll need to reach 10,000 supporters for your project to be considered for review. If your project achieves the milestone of 10,000 supporters, it will enter the LEGO Ideas review phase.
