Like the characters in Five Feet Apart, life with CF means that you have to make some changes to your daily life to stay as healthy as possible. This includes following the 6-foot rule around other cystic fibrosis patients. There are many lifestyle tips and tricks that can be used to avoid dangerous bacteria.
The main characters complement each other, and the book does a good job informing the reader about the illness. I would recommend this one to fans of Everything, Everything, since it has similar aspects. And I wanna live.β. βI'm tired of living without really living. I'm tired of wanting things. We can't have a lot of things. But we could have this.β. βHuman touch. Our first form of communication. Safety, security, comfort, all in the gentle caress of a finger. Or the brush of lips on a soft cheek.
Five feet apart deals with two characters who are battling cystic fibrosis and other lung problems and slowly begin to like each other. The plot of the book was smooth and some of the dialouges were well-written and heart touching. The characterization of every main character was simply superb but I liked Stella and Will a lot.
