The brake lights are sticking on, on my sons fiesta mk7 1.25. Even if I completely disconnect the brake light switch and turn the side lights on, the brake lights are on, even the high level one. If I leave the side lights on and reconnect the switch, I press the brake and all it does is slightly increases the brightness of each brake light.

On opening my drivers door the sync 3 screen showed the following. SYSTEM SHUT DOWN TO SAFE BATTERY POWER. Turn off ignition or start engine. Underneath that was a progression that slowly went across until full and the screen went off. By the way the ignition was not on and the battery seems OK.

It's the first cold day of the year (28F/-2C) and my Fiesta (2012, S, Sedan, 28000 miles) doesn't start. I'm sure it has enough fuel and we got the oil changed just 4 weeks ago.
