Hello, I have 2008 e60 530d most probably m57 engine. There is excess pressure in the coolant reservoir tank every time even at cold engine condition with no evidence of leakage. There is an occasional low coolant warning but never engine heat warning.

Hi,I get a "fuel pump fault" message on my e60 , 530d , 2005 and the engine won`t start. This happens especially in the morning or when the fuel tank runs low on diesel. I replaced the fuel pump but the problem is still on. I should mention that the engines starts after a few tries and the fault message dissapears. Should i check the fuel pump

BMW Technician here: No E60's are reliable. You can get somewhat reliable E60's that have simplistic drivetrains, but primitive electronics will always be the downfall of these (besides the obvious problems with the V8's).
